Topic: ‘Election Day”
Instruction: In this activity, we’re going to do an election for the president in the class. You are
required to write a short text by using “First Conditional” at least 5 sentences. For example, you
will have to state sentences such as “If you vote for us, we will…”, to convince people to vote for
you.
Example: Becoming a president is not an easy task; however, I am determined to make everything
prospered for everyone. So, if you vote for us, we will do everything to make our class become the top
tier in the school. We will make the class become an enjoyable place to study if you support our team. We
won’t disappoint you if you trust us. Will you believe our team if we show you how good we are? In
addition, we won’t create an unnecessary comment on everyone status if you are from different
background. Finally, everything above will happen if you vote for us, and we won’t disappoint everyone
with our hard work.
