America, Africa, Central Asia, and Southeast Asia dominated the usage, accounting for 71%,
84%, 86%, and 81%, respectively. In contrast, these figures in Europe and North America
were significantly lower, at just over 30%. Notably, these two regions allocated the largest
share of water to the industrial sector, with nearly 48% in Europe and 53% in North America.
Meanwhile, industrial water consumption in the remaining areas was minimal, ranging from
7% to 19%.
As for domestic purposes, Central Asia and Southeast Asia consumed the same proportion of
water, at slightly over 5%. Africa's water usage for domestic needs was comparable, at 9%. In
comparison, South America, Europe, and North America allocated slightly higher
percentages, at 19%, 15%, and 13%, respectively.

The given table illustrates the yearly incomes of Australian employees from five
different occupation groups in 2006. Overall, sales had the highest maximum salaries
while minimum salaries were the lowest. By contrast, Engineering and IT and
Telecommunications had the highest minimum wages and the second-highest
maximum earnings. Moreover, those who work in Education and Travel had
relatively high minimum salaries but lower potential for salary growth.
Sales offered the highest earning potential, with a maximum salary of AU$216,100.
However, people working in sales earned the lowest minimum salary, at AU$27,000.
In contrast, Engineering and IT and Telecommunications offered the highest
minimum income at around AU$38,000, while their maximum incomes were slightly
lower than that of Sales, at AU$145,080 and AU$100,000 respectively. Another
notable feature is that while all three of these professions have high average salaries,
the average salary for sales professionals is around AU$10,000 lower than that of
Engineering and IT and Telecommunications.
As regards the remaining fields, Education and Travel had the lowest maximum and
average earnings, with maximum incomes of approximately AU$68,000. Minimum
incomes ranged from AU$45,000 to AU$50,000 in these sectors. Furthermore, despite
having the lowest maximum salary, the minimum salaries for Education and Travel
were higher than that of sales, which had the highest maximum salary, by around
AU$32,500.
