Concept
Each point represents four directions.
North (up)
South (down)
East (right)
West (left)

Bearings are nothing but measurements of angles with certain rules.


The angle is always measured from the north.
It is measured in clockwise direction.

There are four quadrants.


Quadrant 1: 0-90
Quadrant 2: 90-180
Quadrant 3: 180-270
Quadrant 4: 270-360

Q) A ship is travelling from port O for 100 km at a bearing of 60 degrees.
