Information about E-Tokens
E-token is a compact and portable one-time password strong authentication device that allows
CenteOnline banking customers to conveniently and effectively establish OTP based secure access to
the network resources and online services.
OTP means a onetime password that is generated from the E-Token and is valid for 60 seconds and is
used only for one login session or transaction authentication.
Types of Tokens
The Appliance has the ability to authenticate various types of devices. These include the following,
Mini Token
Pocket Token
PC Soft Token
Mobile Soft Token
Web Soft Token
SMS OTP Token
Email OTP Token
Every enrolled customer will have the capability of accessing any of the devices discussed above, and
the authentication of a financial transaction executed on CenteOnline Banking Application can
authenticated with through the use of the selected appliance from the above list.
Customers will authenticate their transactions performed on CenteOnline banking using the OTP
received. Note that;
The OTPs provided to the customers through the above appliances can be used only once.
If the OTPs are entered incorrectly, the customer can try multiple times to use the OTP defined
before it times out.
The Customer has the capability of assigning multiple OTP channels (Mobile, Web, PC).
The Customer has the capability of defining OTP channels for multiple devices.
Regarding Personal Computers or Mobile Devices, only one installation is allowed for a specific
physical device.
Because of the nature of the Personal Computer and Mobile soft token which are actually applications
and only one can be installed in each device, the authentication will be provided to the actual customer
of the bank and not an appointed agent.
