Step 1. Tray Jam Check
Check to see if trays are getting jammed in the A line.
If trays are getting jammed, foreign matter on the conveyor may obstructing tray passage. Remove the foreign matter.
If there is no foreign matter on the conveyor
Push out jammed trays.
(X2EC will turn OFF, and the alarm will be automatically
cancelled in 2 seconds)
If trays are not jammed
Proceed to Step 2.
Step 2. Sensor Check
Check to see if sensors X2EC and/or X2FC are still ON.
The LED light status can be used to check if the sensor is ON or OFF. Under normal conditions the sensor LED(red) will be ON
when a tray is present, and OFF when no tray is present.
X2FC
X2EC
If the sensor is ON (LED is lit) although no tray is present
The sensor may be defective.
Replace the sensor.
LED (Red)
If the alarm continues to occur after replacing the sensor
The remote I/O slave 2 may be defective.
Replace the remote I/O slave 2.
If there are no problems with the sensor
Proceed to Step 3. E

Step 3. Tray Stopper Operation Check
Check to see if tray stopper Y22CC is operating correctly in remote I/O slave 2 forced output mode.
Force the applicable tray stopper (solenoid) ON in remote I/O slave 2 and check operation.
Y22CC
Forced output mode
You can check the output by using the forced output mode on the slave printed circuit board.

● Remote I/O slave
When SW3 is turned ON, the slave will engage in forced output mode.
You can check the output by selecting the locations that you want to check with SW4 (16 locations) and turning SW1 ON.
* Refer to the electrical drawing for details on the output No.
1. Stop the CBF.
* Perform the following procedure on each applicable slave.
2. Turn SW3 ON.
3. Adjust SW4 to the last digit in the device number of the device that needs to be checked.
[Ex:] For Y23A, set to “A,” and for Y261, set to “1”
4. Turn SW1 ON and check the output.
5. After checking, turn SW3 OFF and cancel the output mode.
* When SW1 is held down for five seconds or longer, the output status will be maintained. When SW1 is pressed again, the
output status will be cancelled.
* The output status can be maintained at any number of locations at a time.
If you switch to forced output mode during the CBF operation, the operation will stop.
