REQUEST FOR DEFERMENT OF ANNUAL LEAVE

I am writing to formally request the deferment of my annual leave, originally approved for the
period of 1st December 2024 to 20th February 2025, due to ongoing academic and
administrative responsibilities that require my presence during this period.

The 2024/2025 academic session commenced on 18th November 2024, and the faculty is
actively engaged in critical activities, including the ongoing registration and classes for newly
admitted students, as well as the resumption of classes for returning students.

In light of these responsibilities, I kindly request that my annual leave of fifty-six (56) days be
deferred to a more suitable period when the faculty’s activities have stabilized. I am committed
to rescheduling my leave in alignment with the university's operational requirements to ensure
continuity in faculty operations.
