same) - 'this' output questions (again 4-5 variations) - promise, promise based question,
async/await, event loop, and fetch - [Link]() from scratch - 2-3 more questions were also
there
Round 2: React - What is React, Virtual DOM - Class vs Functional Components, State,
useState, useEffect I took a counter example in my explanation so was asked to make that. -
Make a counter, cleanups, stale closure, dependency array - Custom Hooks - useMemo() from
scratch - I tried but couldn't so asked if I can do useFetch() and did that. He started asking JS
questions after this. - this output based question, event loop, new operator output based
question There was supposed to be a take-home assignment after this but I shared my projects
and they liked them so they decided to skip it.
Round 3: Senior Engg Manager - Questions around past work and experience, my approach to
adding extra features, and optimization in my projects. Like adding a dark mode. - Culture fit
and team dynamics related questions
Round 4: Culture - Behavioral and situation-based questions One thing I would like to add - the
interview was much more than just answering these questions correctly. Soft skills and due
diligence about the company played a huge role in my selection. I will talk more about this when
we have a meeting.
