Activity 1: "Character Match: Who Shows Patience?"
● The teacher will present an activity to students with short descriptions of well-known characters
from literature or movies, like (Mulan and Cinderella) who share key traits such as patience,
sacrifice, or loyalty qualities that are central to “The Story of Griselda.”
● The students will try to guess which character is being described.
● After each guess, briefly discuss how the described character relates to these traits, and then connect
the discussion back to what students might expect from Griselda in the story.

Activity 2: “WATCH & SHARE!”
● The teacher will present a video through power point.

● The teacher will present the short biography of Giovanni Boccaccio, the author of the story.
● Then, the teacher will present and discuss the story entitled “The Story of Griselda” by Giovanni
Boccaccio in a read-a-loud strategy.

Activity 3: Let’s play “PASS OR PLAY!”
● The first group to play will pick a number from the mystery box.
● What number they see in the box has a corresponding question they, choose to pass or play the given

● When they choose to pass, the other group will have a chance to steal.
● If the question is answered correctly, they will receive a plus point based on the number they chose.

● Each group will have a designated task. They are going to perform varied activities such as slogan,
jingle, role playing and mnemonics.
● The teacher will present the rubrics to the learners to know the criteria for judging their performances.
● In their respective groups, the students will be given five (5) minutes for their performance.
● The students will relate their tasks to the theme of “Story of Griselda”, which are about patience and
loyalty.

Group 3- Role Playing about loyalty.
