Nkitseng Motlogeloa was the first-born son of the late Mr Khoali and Mrs Emily Nkitseng.
He was born on the 9th of September 1954. He passed peacefully on the 3rd of
December 2024: He leaves behind his 2 sisters and his beloved son Mmusetsi
Nkitseng,.
He started his primary education at Phitshana public school previously known as BIJO.
Bisho. He continued to Phiritona High School then later went to Jordan high school
where he obtained his matric certificate.
He was a staunch member of the black consciousness movement. He later joined the
arm struggle Umkhonto we Sizwe liberation movement. Due to his political beliefs and
allegiance to equality and freedom he was forced to flee the country in 1977. He was
exiled into Botswana and later moved to Tanzania.
Comrade Lazi was a visionary he believed that education could liberate black
communities in South Africa. This belief system ensured that he pursued his studies
and later obtained his Master of Science in Biology and Chemistry education at
Volgograd state university in Russia.
He worked at Solomon Mahlangu freedom college as a lecture until 1992 when he came
back into the country. Upon his return he was involved in multiple endeavours he served
within the ANC and SACP, He later worked as a councillor at Heilbron local municipality.
Master Lazarous Motlogeloa Nkitseng was an eloquent and humorous writer who in his
lifetime has written multiple articles and unpublished word of thoughts.
