1. Current GAD vertical clearance is 5.
164 m from ground level, as per EPC agreement minimum vertical
clearance above road level should be 5.500 m. In general practice Vertical clearance measured from
proposed road level so Please mention the road level in drawing and correct the vertical clearance
value as per EPC agreement from road level.
2. (i) Please correct the text detail C, which should be change as detail B and show guard rail provision
there.
(ii) Please change the drawing no. in GAD title box and submitted letter. There mention MNB which
should be change as RUB.
3. Give a IRS reference of Abutment cap thickness which provided 300 mm in drawing. (As per IRC 78 -
2014 this value between 200 to 500mm depends on type of abutment.)
4. Show longitudinal cross section reference level of proposed road level with already existing road level
up to PROW of RUB. Also mention the name of road (village road, MDR etc.) in key plan in every
drawing.
5. Grade of concrete in toe wall should be M20 in place of M15. IRS CBC cl. 5.4.4 table 4(b) M15 is given
for moderate condition, for durability and provided height of structure (or backfill material) and less
maintenance in future enhance the grade of concrete as M20 for toe wall.
6. Drawing is reviewed as GAD point of view only. Structure drawing of each component of RUB should
be submitted at the time of submission of design.
