Task 1
The graph below gives information about the percentage of the population in four
Asian countries living in cities from 1970 to 2020, with predictions for 2030 to
2040. Overall, the line of graph as known the percentage of the population in four
Asian countries living in the city increases continuous except Philippines decrease
in 1990 to 2010 after increase.
Firstly, Malaysia is a top of four countries although start lower than Philippines.
The percentage of the city population in Malaysia increase 30% to higher than 80%
in 1970 to 2040.
Secondly, I will present about Indonesia. This is a country have the lowest
percentage of the city population but it overcomes Thailand and Philippines to
become a top two in 2040, It overcome Thailand in 2000 and Philippines in 2010.
Base on graph, we can see the percentage increases 13% to 60% in 1970 to 2040.
Thirdly, the percentage line of Thailand and Philippines almost increase same
together but the Thailand increase continuous beside the Philippines don’t increase
continuous, it increases strong in 1990 but decrease to 2010 after increase to 2040.
Inconclusion, We know people in four Asian living in cities almost increase to
2040.
Task 2
The most important aim of science should be to improve people’s live and I
extremely with this statement. In modern society as today, the world has many
experiments, creations about science such as technology and medicine which
almost improve for the people’s lives.
Firstly, I will present about technology. Today, you can approach with technology
very easy. Only smartphone, you may connect with many people around the world
and it is a virtual world you can do anything. Example for student, you can study
without go to school by some application like: Zoom, Google Meet,… This
advantage showed in Covid-19 disease. For me, the student of Information of
Technology major, the technology help me very much, I can study myself or find
some materials I need without buy us in amazon website with high cost. Talk about
online shopping, it is power boom of technology that help people buy products
without go to directly a market. You need only a smartphone and internet available
connect, you can shopping anytime and anywhere. It almost about social network,
so what about houseware? Technology can give you a modern house with
automatically dishwasher, washing machine, vacuum cleaner,… this is almost help
you have more time to do other task and improve your life.
Secondly, So what about medicine? Back to time in 2010 to 2018, if you have
cancer you can’t live continuous, Today the scientist created the medicine help you
healing if you have cancer process one or two, it is very awesome. Beside I think
the role of science showed the most clearly in Covid-19 disease. The creation of
vaccine saved the life of many people and Vietnam is the country has not diet of
Covid-19.
Inconclusion, the development of science improved people’s lives anymore and it
give many benefits for the human. Like a student of Information Technology major
I need to improve knowledge to prepare for the development of science in the
world.
