Interviewer(arij): "Welcome, Nour! Thank you for taking the time to interview with us for the
Business Analyst role. How are you today?"

Interviewee(nour): "Thank you for having me! I’m doing well and excited about this opportunity."

Interviewer(arij): " Good, I now see your resume, it looks very good, so Let’s start with you telling me
a bit about yourself and your professional background.”

Interviewee(nour): "Of course. My name is Nour Bairam. I hold a bachelor’s degree in finance and I’m
currently in the final year of my master’s in Business Analytics. Over the course of my studies, I’ve
developed strong skills in tools like Excel, PowerBI, Python, SQL, and machine learning, as well as
expertise in financial analysis, KPI setup, data analysis, and business process improvement."

Interviewer(arij): "That’s a great introduction! Now, based on the job offer, we’re looking for
someone who can analyze data and help with decision-making. Could you give an example from your
experience where you had to analyze data and make recommendations?"

Interviewee(nour): "Certainly! During my internship at BIAT, I was tasked with analyzing customer
segmentation data. I used SQL to extract relevant data, then created detailed reports and
visualizations using Power BI. Based on my analysis, I recommended adjusting the marketing
strategies to focus more on high-value customer segments, which led to a significant increase in
engagement. This experience taught me how to turn raw data into actionable insights that can
directly impact business outcomes."

Interviewer(arij):: "That’s a great example, Nour. Here, we also value good communication. Can you
tell me about a time when you had to explain data to people who weren’t familiar with it? How did
you make sure they understood?"

Interviewee(nour): "During my internship at BIAT, I had to share data findings with the management
team, who didn’t have a technical background. To make it clear, I used Power BI to create simple and
easy-to-understand dashboards that showed the key trends. I focused on explaining how the data
related to the company’s goals, so they could see the value of the insights and take action without
needing to understand the technical details."

Interviewer(arij):: "Great! This job involves working with different teams. Can you tell me how you
work with other departments and make sure your analysis matches their needs?"

Interviewee(nour): "At BIAT, I worked closely with the marketing and sales teams to understand
what they needed. We had regular meetings to keep in touch, and I made sure my analysis focused
on their goals. I also helped them choose the right metrics to track, so the data I gave them was
useful and easy to act on."

yourself and your background?"

Interviewee (Arij): Yes Sure. My name is Arij Nasri. I hold a license in Economic and Financial
Engineering from the ESC of Tunis, and I am currently studying Business Analytics at Esprit School of
Business and have worked on projects involving data analysis, business modeling, and performance
optimization. Over the course of my studies, I’ve developed strong skills in tools like Excel, PowerBI,
Python, SQL, and machine learning. I'm particularly excited about the opportunity to apply these
skills at Innovate Solutions."

Interviewer (Nour): "Thank you for joining us today. Let’s start with some basic questions. Why did
you choose to apply for this Business Analyst role at Innovate Solutions?"

Interviewee (Arij): "I applied for this role because I’m passionate about using data to solve business

Interviewer (Nour): “We emphasize using data visualization tools like Power BI. Can you walk me
through a specific dashboard you’ve created and its impact?”

Interviewee (Arij): "One of the dashboards I’m most proud of was for a project analyzing job
market trends in Tunisia. I gathered data from various job portals, cleaned it using SQL, and
visualized key metrics in Power BI. This project helped me enhance my skills in data
visualization and presenting insights effectively."

Interviewer (Nour): "Cool, If a team member disagrees with your approach on a project, how would
you handle the situation?”

Interviewee (Arij): "If a team member disagreed with my approach, I would first take the time to
listen to their perspective and understand their concerns. Open communication is crucial, so I would
explain my reasoning and provide data or evidence to support my approach. If we still didn’t agree,
I’d suggest collaborating to explore alternative solutions and identify a middle ground that aligns with
the project’s goals. I believe that differing perspectives often lead to better outcomes when handled
respectfully and collaboratively."
