FORMAT OF PROJECT REPORT
CLASS: BE (Electrical Engineering) ACADEMIC YEAR: 2024-2025
Rules for making report on Project:
1) Should be typed in MS-WORD on A/4 size executive bond paper using font - Times New Roman only
2) Main heading --- Font size 14 and BOLD.
3) Sub heading --- Font size 12 and BOLD.
4) Text --- Font size 12.
5) Spacing between lines must be 1.5 lines.
6) All figures should be numbered serially.
7) Colour images are also permitted.
8) Must be of min 75 pages and max up to 100 pages.
9) Should be hard bound form and shall have uniformity.
10) Headers and footers must be placed as prescribed in the format.
11) Margins of pages shall confirm the following specification:
● Left margin – 1.38 inch (3.5cm) from edge of paper
● Right margin – 0.79 inch (2 cm) from edge of paper
● Top margin - 0.79 inch (2 cm) from edge of paper
● Bottom margin – 0.79 inch (2 cm) from edge of paper
12) The report must be prepared in consultation with guide and must be
thoroughly checked.
13) All pages must be without border.
14) All text should be black in colour only.
15) References must be cited at appropriate place in the text and placed in Squared Brackets [ ].
16) Pages should be numbered from introduction onwards. First page of chapter should not have a printed page no.
17) Page numbers should be placed at the bottom center.
18) Data-sheets should be attached with the Project report [max.10 pages]
19) Abstract should be of single page only and a separate hard-copy must be prepared which will be submitted to the
examiner at the time of examination.
20) No. of Copies to be submitted – (2 + number of student member of the group) no. of copies
1 for Department and 1 for guide

⮚ Soft CopySoftcopy of PowerPoint Presentation presented in final presentation
in PDF and PPT format
⮚ Papers prepared in PDF and WORD format
⮚ All reference papers, books and any other materials in PDF format as per
reference sequence
● Enlisted documents to be submitted in DVD along with along with photographs,
videos and simulation files as well, as in Google Form, with following
information written on it
