Language Study Plan

o Study plans to improve Korean/English language ability required for taking a degree course before and
after you come to Korea.

Before coming to South Korea, I plan to build up my Korean vocabulary, learn grammar patterns. Listen
to podcasts by Korean natives to improve my listening skills and habitual myself with commonly used
phrases and words. Follow socials run by Korean native teachers to familiarize me with intonation,
review my foundation course lecture recordings and try to enhance my language learning skills. Learning
Korean through the medium of English is helping me even more to upgrade my English language skills. In
order to obtain a decent TOPIK level, I have been preparing for a while. I am trying to interact with
natives through the ‘Hilokal’ application to have a one-on-one language exchange. Additionally, I have
developed a habit of taking an online test, and I will be continuing to do that in the long run.

After coming to South Korea, my priority will be to dedicate myself learning the academic version of the
Korean language during my 1st-year language program. Even though I have started learning the Korean
language, I believe this language program has a distinct approach to strengthening the field of study
(speaking, reading, and writing). I aim to get TOPIK level 4 or more within one year of the language
program. I wish to explore South Korea by traveling during vacations and would like to have one-to-one
language exchanges with natives during language programs and even during travels. I would like to
receive some materials related to my major from professors to preview them. Making myself better
adapted to my academic master’s program. Following the successful completion of the language
program, I will practice the language and will make sure to improve with age.

Goal of study & Study Plan o Goal of study and detailed study plan

My objective will be to understand the concepts thoroughly and gain comprehensive knowledge of the
courses offered each semester. I would like to undergo all the required and optional courses if any. I
want to take subject courses like Consumer Behavior, Human resource management, e-Commerce
Management, and Business research analysis apart from required courses as my interest because my
professional experience and future plans equip me to concentrate on these subjects. Recognize and
concentrate on subjects or areas that I feel I am weaker in during my academics. Prepare notes, review
them, spend time in the library, be an active student. Refer to previous years' exams papers to
familiarize me with the format of the examination. Welcome obstacles as that will carry a chance to
boost my confidence. I have a decent knowledge of handling company portals like ‘Finacle’ software by
Infosys, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Tata Consultancy Services Bell Administrative Network
Communications System (TCS BaNCS) software developed by Tata Consultancy Services for use by retail
banks, ‘Workday’ one of the trending software for HR service providers, which constitutes to technical
skills. Still, I would like to undergo a few must-know programs at the expert level to enhance my
technical skills. Develop the skills of management at the international level to meet the rapidly changing
requirements of the business environment. Attend skill-building programs, seminars, and enroll in clubs'
activities. Learn practical management from top-notch faculty members as well as from overseas
professors who will participate in faculty, the support provided by the university. The research areas of
the faculty members impressed me a lot. I want to raise my level of education to contribute my best in
research papers and thesis. Seek guidance from professors, interact with fellow students, participate in
group discussions. Such initiatives will lead to collaborative teamwork and will develop our analytical
skills. While viewing the curriculum, I came across a subject named 'Capstone Project' and I believe
undergoing such projects will lead to excellent exposure in developing intrapersonal skills. The credit
score system of my chosen graduate school gives me a sense of promise to gain a GPA of 3.0 or more in
each academic course. Overall, I believe pursuing a Global MBA through this prestigious program in
Korea will help me to have a better understanding of business, build a network, and self-confidence at
the international level. I am convinced that I will be able to put my best foot forward and make a
meaningful contribution to the business school at my university.

Future Plan

Upon completion of the Master's program in Korea, I plan to do an internship in Korean corporations
such as Samsung, POSCO, or Securities companies. In this internship, I can put into practice what I have
learned theoretically. During the orientation I will get a clear picture of the vision of the joined
companies and their respective projects. Managing tasks and responsibilities systematically will be part
of my contribution to the team. I aim to set up an e-business to serve today's modern society
concentrating on B2B (business-to-business) type. After internships, I would like to return to my home
country and utilize my gained expertise, network to develop an independent business plan of setting up
a Job Consultancy with business scholars from India and Korea. Tie up with companies, build a
relationship, get leverage and expertise from various industries to deliver the best. This will lead to
mutual growth between the two nations in the area of creating an innovative business plan that can be
undertaken in both the country with effective content for those who find difficulty in entering the
company of preferred job profile and starting their employment journey. Motive will be to make those
people employable in today’s competitive world for grabbing the desired opportunity and make them
job-ready. As this master's program fosters to become future managers, I would like to apply my
professional experience along with academic knowledge to expand my network as it will play a vital role
in building this type of business. Overall, my long-term goals are to fulfill the gap from ‘want’ to ‘get’,
have a well-designed training and development program, lead a professional team, put the right efforts
into growing the business through effective leadership skills, create opportunities for Indians and
Koreans, build strong business and cultural relationships.
