DRESS CODE POLICY
Dressing professionally is a must for any Steward within the bank, we need to present ourselves in
such a way that the customer sees the employee as a capable and professional individual. We must
aim to create first and lasting impressions. The first 30 seconds of any interaction sets the tone for an
entire experience and 55% of another person’s perception of you is based on how you look
Please be guided by a few Do’s and Don’ts below:

Wear professional formal dress,

Wear black/grey/neutral stocking

DRESSING FOR THE OCCASION
Black Tie Event: Tuxedos or dark suits with white shirt (men), Formal evening dress or dressy
cocktail dress for ladies
Golf Day/Sports: Khakis/jeans/chinos with nice golf shirt for (men), Khakis/jeans/chinos with
nice casual front button Polo T (ladies)
Business Casual: Chinos or dark jeans; open collar shirt and a jacket (men) Skirt and nice top
or dressy pants outfit (women)
COMMENTS:
1. Aim for Consistency:
Monday’s outfit should not differ radically from Friday’s
2. Fit to Flatter
Ill-fitting garments are a distraction. They beg the question: if the clothing doesn’t fit, what else
doesn’t? The response you’ll get to clothing that’s too tight, too loose, too long or too short will
be at best, uncharitable.
3. Manage your Exposure
The more flesh you expose, the more vulnerable you appear.
4. Attend to Detail
Keep your clothing in good repair, clean and wrinkle free. Your audience will infer that the
amount of care you give others is the same as you give yourself.
5. Always Remember your Audience
Your dress must support, not sabotage, your professional appearance and carry your brand to
success.
