Printing
Print out at 100% scale and in format A4. Use the scale provided on your
pattern to double check that printing has been done correctly.
On the graphic, you see exactly how to arrange the pages, glue them together
and then cut the sewing pattern out. Don‘t overlap sheets of paper!

Fabric
Before you start making the Pyjama set, you have
to choose the right fabric. For this set, it is best to choose
a lightweight to midweight fabric such as ripjersey, cottonjersey, ....
Fabric amount:
210cm length x 140cm width
*If you use a more heavyweight fabric with less
drapability, the outcome will not be the same.

Cutting plan
Note that the grainline is parallel to the selvage. Also make sure that you make

and the front and back of the shorts.

Sewing instructions
TSHIRT: The first step is to place the front and
back right side on the right side and sew the side
seams and shoulder seams with a 1cm seam all-
owance and use a stretch stitch or 4 thread over-
lock.
The next step is to take the sleeves and to serge
their length.
After close the inseam (right side on the right
side)
The next step is to take the sleeve and put it into
the T- Shirt, that the right side of the sleeve lays
on the right side of the T-Shirt (see tutorial) and
then check that all the notches lay exactly on each
other and then you can start to sew.
9
Now create the neckband, right side of the
beginning on the right side of the ending, and sew
along the short edge.
Place the seam at the shoulder and match with the
notches and secure it with some pins.
And now you can sew the neckband on the
neckline by sewing at 1cm and after give it a good
press.
10
The next step is to pin the neckband to the inside
to cover the seam allowance.
And now stitch in the ditch. That means sew
exactly in the seam. After you can trim the seam
allowance from the neckband evenly, that the
inside of the T-Shirt looks perfectly.
Next serge the length of the T-Shirt.
(Optional: make markings at 3cm, fold it to the
marking and sew at 1,5cm (length of the tshirt
and endings from the sleeves)
I prefered the look of the serged ending for my
11
pyjama tshirt
SHORTS:
Place your front and back pieces right sides
together, to close the side seams (secure the side
seams with some pins)
Now you can sew the side seam at 1 cm.
To close the legs, put the right side back piece on
the right side of the front piece & start to sew
under the crotch at 1 cm.
12
To close the crotch seam, lay the back crotch on
the right side of the back crotch and the front
crotch on the front crotch and secure it with some
pins and sew the crotch seam at 1 cm.
Next step is to serge the waist of the shorts.
For the next step, measure at 7,5cm (for a 3cm
elastic band, 8,5cm for a 4cm elastic band) from
the top of the shorts and make some markings.
Now fold to the marking and secure it with some
13
pins.
The next step is to sew around the waist, leave
3 -4 cm open to put the elastic band through the
tube.
Now take your elastic band and measure the size
of your waist and add a 2 cm seam allowance and
cut the elastic band.
Pin the safety pin through your elastic band, and
then put the head of the safety pin through the
tube and start wiggling and pulling the safety pin
down till the pin comes out at the end of the tube.
14
Sew the beginning and end of the elastic band
together.
Close the gap we left open for the elastic band.
The next step is to serge the length. (Optional:
make markings at 3cm, fold it to the marking and
sew at 1,5cm. I prefered the look of the serged en-
ding for my pyjama shorts.
