PROPOSED ADDITIONS AND ALTERATIONS FOR NATIONAL SEMINARY OF OUR
LADY OF LANKA AT AMPITIYA, KANDY.
Refer to the discussions had with you 08th October 2024 regarding the above, we would like to
forward our consultancy services for satisfactorily completion of the project as you expected.
01) SCOPE OF SERVICES
The following project stages are covered under the consultancy Services of the Work.
a. SCHEMATIC DESIGN PHASE
● Preliminary Architectural Drawings for approval of the client.
b. DESIGN DEVELOPMENT PHASE
● Preparation of Architectural Drawings
● Preparation of Structural Drawings
● Preparation of MEP design Drawings
● Preparation of other relevant Drawings
c. CONTRACT DOCUMENT PHASE
● Preparation of Bill of Quantities and Specifications.
● Preparation of Cost Estimate for the Construction
02) QULIFICATION OF CONSULTANCY TEAM
Our consultancy team consisting of following expertise in the field of construction.
1. Chartered Civil Engineer with more than 20 years of experience
2. Chartered Electrical Engineer with more than 12 years of experience
3. Chartered Architect with more than 12 years of experience

03) COST PROPOSAL FOR THE CONSULTANCY WORK
Total Consultancy Fee
Total Consultancy fee for consultant is 5 % of the approved Engineer’s Estimate
The percentages and the corresponding Consultancy Fee in respect of each Work Phase are given
below.

Interim payments of Consultancy fee shall be made on completion of each Work Phases indicated in
above.
For the Initial phases the fees shall be calculated based on the Preliminary Project Estimate.
When the Plans and B.O.Q. have been completed and the Engineer’s Estimate has been prepared for
the Works the fee will be revised in accordance with this estimate and the payment of fee adjusted
accordingly
Fee for Periodic Site Supervision
1) Engineer’s charges for site visits per day for construction supervision is SLRs. 15, 000.00
2) Architect's charges for site visits per day for construction supervision is SLRs. 10, 000.00
In order to commence the work and to bind the contract it is required to have Rs. 500,000.00 advance
payment please. For the payment option bank account number is 1040 5001 7664, sampath bank,
Narahenpita branch.
