Script for School Intramurals Program

Part 1: Opening Program

"Good morning, everyone! Welcome to the 2024 School Intramurals here


at Pinas Elementary School. We are all gathered today to celebrate
sportsmanship, camaraderie, and the spirit of healthy competition. Let's
begin the day with a sense of unity and enthusiasm. To formally start our
program, may we invite everyone to please stand for the opening prayer
to be led by Ma’am Noraline Gapas."

Let’s all remain standing as we show our love and respect for our
country with the singing of our National Anthem, to be led by Ma’am
Rosemarie Sacobo."

"And now, to formally open today’s event, we will hear an opening


remarks from our beloved School Head, Ma’am Cynthia Agra. Let’s all
give a warm round of applause.

"Good morning, everyone. Today marks another exciting chapter for our
school as we celebrate our annual Intramurals. This event allows us to
cultivate not just physical fitness but also teamwork, discipline, and

"Thank you, Ma’am. We will now proceed with the most exciting part of
our opening program: the Cheers and Yells Competition between Team
A and Team B! Let’s start with Team A, followed by Team B. Let’s hear it

"Thank you very much Kap for those inspiring words. Now, let us all take
the Oath of Amateurism to be led by Oliver Oliva III. May we request all
participants to kindly rise and raise your right hand."

Next, we will have the Oath of Officiating Officials, to be led by Sir


Eugene Gacuscus, the School Sports Coordinator. May we request all
officiating officials to stand and raise your right hand."

Now, to symbolize the beginning of our sports competition, we will


proceed with the lighting of the torch by Mark Adriel Calaramo."

Next, we will witness the hoisting of the school banner to be led by our
School Head and Sports Coordinator. Let’s give them a round of
applause as they proceed to the area.

"Ladies and gentlemen, we now proceed with the ceremonial hoisting of


banners, symbolizing unity, teamwork, and the start of our exciting event.
Team leaders, please take your positions."

"On my command, we will raise the banners. Let this symbolize our
strength, determination, and team spirit for the games ahead!"
