This quilt uses a 1/4" seam allowance.


Each day/block has its own page so you can easily stay on track with the Quilt Along.
Tutorial videos will be on Hailey Stitches YouTube channel every day at 10AM CST from December 1st - 13th.
The pattern was written with just a few colors for simplicity, but this pattern is scrap friendly so you can easily
shop your fabric stash if you’d like.

as shown below. Press away from the center. Unit

1. With right sides together, layer (2) HST units. Make sure
the fabrics are opposite one another and the seams are
going in the same direction.
2. Draw a diagonal line that is perpendicular to the seams
and sew 1/4" away on both sides of the marked line.
3. Cut along the marked line to get (2) Hourglass Block
Units. Press open and trim to 2 1/2" x 2 1/2".
Make 4 Hourglass Blocks.
