Don’t be afraid
Matthew 17:7 And Jesus came to them and touched them and said, "Get up, and do not be
afraid.”
Mark 5:36 But Jesus, overhearing what was being spoken, said to the synagogue official, "Do not
be afraid any longer, only believe."
Don’t be afraid of terrorists
Psalm 91:5 You will not be afraid of the terror by night, or of the arrow that flies by day.
Matthew 10:28 "Do not fear those who kill the body but are unable to kill the soul; but rather fear
Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.”
Psalm 56:11 In God I have put my trust, I shall not be afraid. What can man do to me?
Don’t be afraid of persecution
1 Peter 3:14 But even if you should suffer for the sake of righteousness, you are blessed. And do
not fear their intimidation, and do not be troubled.
If you put your trust in God, you won’t be afraid
Psalm 56:4 In God, whose word I praise, In God I have put my trust; I shall not be afraid. What
can mere man do to me?

Don’t be afraid because God is with you
Deuteronomy 31:6 "Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid or tremble at them, for the Lord

Don’t be afraid of people
Psalm 56:11 In God I have put my trust, I shall not be afraid. What can man do to me?

Don’t be afraid at night!
Psalm 91:5 You will not be afraid of the terror by night, or of the arrow that flies by day.

Don’t be afraid because you are valuable to God
Matthew 10:29, 31 “Are not two sparrows sold for a cent? And yet not one of them will fall to the
ground apart from your Father. So do not fear; you are more valuable than many sparrows.”
Faith in God will drive away fear
Mark 4:40 And He said to them, "Why are you afraid? How is it that you have no faith?"
Matthew 8:26 He said to them, "Why are you afraid, you men of little faith?"
Don’t be afraid because God has chosen to give you the kingdom
Luke 12:32 "Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has chosen gladly to give you the
kingdom.”
Christians don’t need to be afraid of dying
Hebrews 2:14-15 …He Himself likewise also partook of the same, that through death He might
render powerless him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, and might free those who
through fear of death were subject to slavery all their lives.

1 John 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves
