EULOGY

PLACE OF BIRTH
The late Philemon Ng’eno (CITY) was born at Cheptebes in the year 1924. He was the second born son to
Koromicha Kipngeno Manyim and Pascalia Manyim Tabarkerot. He was a brother to the late Chebochok
Ng’eno of Maset, Kapkoros; Kiprere ngeno of chepchabas, Taprandich Cherorot of Londiani, the late
Tabutany Tembur of Mugenyi, Grace Rotich of Mugenyi and Liner Tigirei of Mogoywet Kapkoros.

EDUCATION
The late Philemon Ng’eno started education at Cheptebes to class three of old curriculum.

CHRISTIANITY
He joined Missionary church at Cheptebes.

MARRIAGE
He was married to Esther Ng’eno of Arap Togos of Saseta, Mogogosiek and was blessed with the
following children; Samuel Mutai of Mugenyi, Joseph Mutai of Kipkelion, Janet Kerich of Kapsir, Anna
Kenduiywo of Kapsir, Stanley Mutai of Mugenyi, Joel Mutai, the late Priscila Chepkorir, Robert Mutai and
Kenneth Mutai. He was the father in –law to Margaret Mutai, Edna Mutai, Irine Mutai, Josephine Mutai,
Winny mutai and Sharon Mutai.

The late Philemon Ng’eno left grand and great grandchildren who are blessed.

WORK
The late Philemon ngeno began to work at his late brother’s farm Jonathan maina of besiobei
kaptebengwet before joining maize business. He later managed to secure his land and became a good
farmer

HEALTH
The late Philemon has been in good health until old age, when he began to complain about back pain
and was assisted at Tenwek hospital on outpatient service. He was healed and began to be healthy until
the body began to be weak. On 4th December 2024, he was taken to Kapkatet Hospital where he was
admitted and discharged on 11th December 2024. On 14th December 2024, Saturday at around 6:00am,
the late Philemon Ng’eno was rushed to Litein Hospital and was confirmed dead on arrival.
