and the person whose name is-

“haan kyun nahi, main ussi jagah ke side jaa rha thha chod dunga, baitho”

remembers going to the nearest confectionary store with his grandpa on the bike, He remembers his
grandpa coming to him while he got hurt, he remembers his grandpa sitting on the bike and taking
his siblings to the local fair. Montage ends.

Script-2

[scene 1- the introduction]

The camera shows a house in which a joint family comprising 3 generations are all living together
under the same roof.

We hear the parents discussing how much they disapprove of their kid's choices and why they are
irresponsible.

Mother- “aajkal ke bache pata nahi kya krte hain. Na toh safety ka khayal rakhte hain aur nahi apne
lifestyle ka. Yahan hum poora din baith ke bas tension lete rahein”
Grandfather- “ hamare zamane mein hi sahi thha, sab kuch maa-baap decide karte thhe. Ye
generation hi kharab hai !”

Father- “ aur kya papa ji, ye bachon ko kuch zyada hi freedom de di hai hamne ! maine Rahul ko bola
ki apne liye ek bike dekh lo, aur who ye *vintage bike* le aaya. Arre market mein aajkal kitni nayi
cheezein aa gyi hain, but nahi inhe toh bas Bahari dikhawe pe jaana hai.”

Mother- “ I agree, agar purani bike hi chahiye hoti toh apna mama ke basement se nikal lete woh
garbage “

Rahul, who is supposedly the topic of this disapproving conversation, was listening from his room. In
his mind, he had a thousand defensive answers to his parents on why he bought this bike instead of a
new bike currently famous in the market. But he keeps quiet and decides to not be disrespectful
towards his elders.

The day goes on.

[scene 2- the mishap]

It was just any other typical day in an Indian household. Everyone was busy with their chores, Rahul
had just entered the house and had parked the bike in the driveway.

Suddenly his younger sister faints in the living room, and everyone rushes towards her. Her father at
once asks the family driver, Kishore to take out the car. However, Kishore says-

“sir, gaadi bhaut dino se servicing ke liye nahi gayi thi, isiliye start hi nahi ho rahi.”

The father panics as he is not able to control his unrest at the sight of his daughter lying unconscious.

Rahul takes his bike keys and orders his father to come with him, he’ll drop him off at the hospital in
time. At first, the father is reluctant, however, he unwillingly sits behind him taking his daughter in
his arms. He was surprised by the comfortable seats and how easily the bike was able to
accommodate all three of them.

The camera pans to them, crossing roads smoothly and the hospital comes into sight. They reach the
hospital and the father is relieved to hear from the doctor that they’ve got nothing to worry about.

[ scene-3 the reconcillation]

Father comes up to Rahul, puts a hand on his shoulder and gently squeezes it as a show of affection,
He expresses his gratitude.

Father- “ beta aaj ye bike nahi hoti toh pata nahi kya hota “

Rahul- “ papa, Ye bike bhale purani hogi, lekin ekdum bharosemand hai. *He continues to tell his
father all the unique features of his new bike that makes it stand out* “

Father- “ beta manna padega, Purani cheezein sabse zyada vafadaar hoti hai. Jaahan pe hamari nayi
technology fail kar jaati hain, jaise ke ye bike, last mein hame bacha leti hai”

Father-son hug each other, and walk away from the camera, while the camera pans to show the
vintage, aesthetic, and durable structure of the bike.

Advertisement rolls out.
