Stay Informed: The Risks of
Consuming Sting Energy Drink in
2024
Sting Energy Drink is a popular energy drink that is sold in many countries around the world.
It contains caffeine, taurine, B vitamins, and other ingredients that are marketed to improve
energy, focus, and athletic performance. However, there are some risks associated with
consuming Sting Energy Drink.
Risks for Children and Adolescents
This is not about the sting energy, it's all included in soft drinks also. Soft drinks are
not recommended for children and adolescents. This is because their bodies are still
developing and they are more sensitive to the effects of caffeine and other
stimulants. Consuming energy drinks can lead to a number of health problems in
children and adolescents, including:
● Anxiety
● Insomnia
● Headaches
● Dizziness
● Stomachache
● Heart problems
● Seizures
● Death
What are the side effects of energy drinks on the brain?
Several reports have suggested that energy drinks may contribute to ischemic
stroke and lead to epileptic seizures. Hallucinations might be observed in
individuals that consume more than 300 mg of caffeine per day. High levels of
cortisol that follow caffeine intake could explain this (Alsunni, A. A. 2015, October 1)
