Reflective Essay
To enhance my skills on the diversity, equity and social diversity, I had had to explore and analyze
identity, social relationships and justice in historical business events. I have focused on working on my
goals by addressing structural problems that affect the business sector. I have also engaged in different
racial groups and shared power over and decision making on the practices and culture. To enhance
equality, I had to create awareness concerning equality in all practices by treating everyone the same.
The balance was essential to develop the same ability, confidence, motivation and connectedness
towards the shared dream. The community had to offer better support for social justice. Rules and
regulation helped combat all forms of discrimination and oppression. The community project provided
skills on how to foster cultural, emotional, social and professional support for better articulation of the
goals.
The course, assignments and tasks have enhanced me the ability to analyze community issues from a
diverse perspective. The jobs have helped me in improving my understanding and social awareness of
the societal social structure (Wortham-Galvin 49). The studies have improved my confidence in
improving my ability to solve problems to outdo challenges. The studies have developed my skills in
community engagement towards trapping opportunities and experience personal growth. The
assignments have given me the challenge to engage with diverse people through building self-
confidence, efficacy and motivation (Wortham-Galvin 53). The tasks, duties and classes have offered
skills to ensure positive community impact through diversification of abilities and capabilities.
My work as a T member in the improved my skills in collective problem solving through the use of the six
problem-solving skills. I can apply the rational and systematic approach which aims in coming to a
mutual decision. I leant how to think creatively through improving patterns of thinking. The diverse
interaction patterns offered new thinking on how to tackle issue and ideas. My work in T developed my
internal communication processes through the networks and channels. The interactions and training
fostered social awareness and communication patterns in the long run. Through interactions, I was
competent in dissemination, prescriptions, advocacy, guidelines, and educating people in the society.
Through proper solving of problems, I gained personal and social skills which enabled me to recommend
specific ideas and conclusions.
The process of reflection has enhanced me the ability to think critically through the use of cognitive skills
and strategies that improve the probability of desirable outcomes. Through thinking reasoned, with
purpose and goals, I formulated conclusions, made decisions and solved problems. Self-reflection
increased my view towards the social, political, economic and cultural issues presented in the business
perspective. I have critically expounded my beliefs and attitudes towards specific issues presented in
class. I have gained ideas on the explanation of values and feelings associated with the methodological
approaches, which include the qualitative and quantitative.
The production of the inputs of the client is based on environmental analysis. A client should be used as
a tool to identify the internal and external elements of a business. The report can be used to provide
possible threats or opportunities and help to keep decision-makers within an organization. The client
might choose which method to use during data analysis in the project or business. The application of the
qualitative analysis can be used to place orb categorized in terms of characteristics and traits.
Quantitative analysis can be measured, counted and expressed using numbers which help in
understanding a specific data for the client. The final recommendation of the client will help in coming
up with a definitive conclusion about the data collected and what type of business he or she can start.
My readings in this class have furthered my skills in professional development. I have also gained
experience through observing and mentoring to enhance the personal growth of skills. Readings in class
have helped me gain insight and understanding in problem-solving, thinking critically and improving
communication skills. I have gained reflection skills which help improve my creativity and focus. I am
competent in the application of the UNST Business Goals in making decisions.
