Visual Communication is use of Visuals like charts, graphs,


diagrams to present information. It is essential form of
communication in presentations.

The use of the actual object to demonstrate on during

Graphs are used to visualize relationships between

Map shows geographic areas that are of interest to the
speech. while speaking of differences between areas or

Photographs or drawings are good tools to make or
emphasize a point or to explain a topic.

would be beneficial to show its pictures.

Advantages:

3) Production cost is low
4)Shared to remote locations

Disadvantages:

1) Projection equipment is expensive

2)Presenter faces the audience in a well lit room

2)Presenter must have high energy.

4)Preparation of handwritten flipcharts is labor intensive

Using a whiteboard as your primary visual aid is
considered inadequate for most business situations and
you can lose control of your audience when busy in
writing.
Benefit:
1) Ideal for recording spontaneous information
2) One can edit information easily

1) Can be used for groups of up to 30 people only

Handouts are a reflection of your presentation and
should be well designed. Many presentation software
programs provide a format for handouts.
Benefits:
1) Provide an accurate record of the information
being presented.
2) The distribution of additional information is
possible.
