A RESOLUTION ADOPTING R.A 8172 ACT FPR SALT IODIZATION NATIONWIDE OR THE
ASIN LAW TO EVERY FOOD ESTABLISHMENT IN BARANGAY DACULANG TUBIG, SAN
FERNANDO, CAMARINES SUR.
WHEREAS, The province of Camarines Sur has high incidence of goiter cases in the
Bicol Region, Based on the latest survey conducted by the Department of Health
(DOH);
WHEREAS, The National Government program is requiring DOH to educate the
people with the people with importance of iodized salt to the health of every
person;
WHEREAS, during the consultative hearings conducted by the Committees of Rules
and Finance, which were attended by different Non Government Organization;
religious, educational business and government sectors, including the PNP
personnel and Justice department, this matter was considered and it was
unanimously agreed upon to recommend favourably for the passage of this
proposition;
WHEREAS, after mature and exhaustive deliberation during its session assembled,
be it.
RESOLVED, As it is hereby resolved to approve the following measures, to wit;
Enacted during the Regular Session of the Sangguniang barangay of Daculang
Tubig, his 2nd day of JANUARY 2024. At the Barangay Hall.
SECTION 1. EFFECTIVITY. This Barangay resolution shall be effective immediately.
