ADJUDICATOR’S DECISION
(Based on your sound judgment (critiquing your own answers) which side should win, and why?

Corporal punishment, in my opinion, should not be reinstated. As stated in the argument that I've read while conducting knowledge
about the topic, 21 countries once supported corporal punishment; nevertheless, what changes have occurred? Is there a decrease in
violence? No. So what's the point? Instead of beating the child, which fosters hatred, which breeds violence, the child should be
treated with love and compassion. It should be made clear to her or him. After all, a child's mind is innocent, and instead of nurturing
it, we should scare it. How can the mind have the flexibility to learn? If someone had punched or otherwise acted violently, you would
essentially be applying physical punishment by beating them, and stating that violence is not the solution. Also, We the teachers,
Educators and acting as their second parent should handle them the best that we could. We will treat them and teach them patiently to
correct their mistakes.
