Do you prefer online
or offline learning?
Answer: As English is a foreign language, when I started learning I found it a little bit
difficult but too much enjoyable. I was facing problems in the pronunciation so it
requires continuous efforts to make it fluent. I used to communicate with others to
improve my fluency and watch English animation movies to understand the proper
pronunciation.
I prefer offline learning as we can communicate without any interruption.
2. Please share what disturbs you the most in ONLINE English learning classes?
Answer: There are some disturbs I have to face the while taking online classes.
Sometimes because of poor internet connection I don’t understand the concept
properly. As I am online, I often get calls or messages from my friends and relatives
which disturbs me a bit. I also get notifications from online games I play so that makes
me too much distracted from class. Lack of instant communication with teacher is also
issue I have to deal with. Besides these there are some minor issues not worth
mentioning.
3. What kind of situations causes stress or anxiety for you in the online class? Are you
comfortable with in Online classes?
Answer: I am not comfortable with online classes as I get stressed. Mostly when the
class duration is too long my eyes get tired because of looking at the phone screen
continuously. Lack of communication with teacher creates anxiety for me. When I
have to face poor internet connection, the class starts to buffer a lot which gives me
too much stress as it is quite impossible to understand the topic that time.
4. What facilities ensures best online education in Bangladesh?
Answer: First and foremost, I need to mention the reliable internet connectivity.
Though its not as fast as developed countries still if we compare it with ourselves a
few years back the internet speed is much faster and more stable than before. There
are many other facilities like user-friendly learning management systems, adequate
technology, access to support services ensures best online classes. The experienced
and well-trained teachers play the vital role to ensure best online education in
Bangladesh.
5. If 0nline classes are only option, what are your suggestions for a proper Online English
class?
Answer: If online classes are only option, my suggestions for a proper online English
class will be :-
• All the students must need to turn on their camera and use headphone for
proper communication.
• The teacher should provide necessary study materials before the class started.
• The teacher should give the class small tasks which is easy and enjoyable to
grab the students` concentration.
