Title: "The Last Cake"

INT. PARK - SHAAM**

---

- **[ESTABLISHING SHOT]**
A serene **park at dusk**, the golden hour casting a soft, warm
glow over everything. The large **tree** shelters a simple
**bench** in the center of the frame. A small, modestly
decorated **cake** rests on the bench. The scene is tranquil but
charged with an undercurrent of unresolved emotions.

- **[WIDE SHOT, STATIC FRAME]**

**Ayla** (late 20s, living sibling) and **Emaan** (early 30s,
deceased sibling) are sitting on the bench. Both characters are
in the center, with a visible space between them. **Ayla** sits
to the right of the cake, her body slightly turned away, arms
crossed. **Emaan** sits to the left, her posture relaxed,
leaning slightly towards the cake. The cake sits like a dividing
line between them, symbolic of their emotional gap.

- **[CLOSE-UP, AYLA’S FACE]**

Ayla looks at the cake with an annoyed expression, her fingers
tapping lightly on her arm. She turns her head slightly toward
**Emaan**, letting out a small, sharp breath before speaking.
Her voice is filled with sarcasm, masking deeper feelings.

**AYLA**
(tanse se)
Tum aaj bhi waise hi ho na, amma ke kehne pe cake le toh aaye
ho, magar baat aaj bhi nahi karoge mujhse?

- **[MEDIUM SHOT, TWO-SHOT]**

**Emaan** smiles slightly, the kind of smile that teases but
carries understanding. She leans forward just a bit, her posture
more open than Ayla's, giving the impression that she’s the one
who’s always ready to engage.
**EMAAN**
(smiling)
Amma ke kehne pe? Seriously? Inni baton ki wajah se aaj tak
hamara gap raha hai.

---

**Frame 2:**

- **[CLOSE-UP, AYLA’S FACE]**

Ayla rolls her eyes slightly, a small smirk forming on her lips,
but it’s tinged with bitterness. She glances at **Emaan**, her
guard still up, as if she’s used to this push and pull.

**AYLA**
Sure, Emaan. Whatever suits you.

- **[MEDIUM SHOT, FOCUS ON AYLA]**

A pause hangs in the air. The tension between them is palpable,
yet familiar, like an old argument they’ve had countless times
but never fully resolved.

---

**Frame 3:**

- **[MEDIUM SHOT, TWO-SHOT]**

**Emaan** softens slightly. Her tone shifts from playful to
concerned. She leans back, her gaze lingering on Ayla for a
moment before speaking. The warmth in her voice contrasts with
Ayla’s defensiveness.

**EMAAN**
(softly)
Tumhe pata bhi hai ghar ka kya mahaul hai? Amma har waqt apne
kamre mein hoti hain, na mujhse baat karti hain, na roti hain,
aur na kuch batati hain. It’s very tough.

- **[OVER-THE-SHOULDER SHOT, FOCUS ON AYLA]**

The camera captures **Ayla’s** body language: tense, arms still
crossed. She takes a deep breath, trying to maintain her
composure, but the weight of her own emotional baggage seeps
through.

**AYLA**
(sighing, frustrated)
Tou, how are you managing everything?

- **[CLOSE-UP, EMAAN]**
**Emaan** lets out a soft chuckle, shaking her head slightly,
her eyes conveying a sense of empathy and sadness. She shrugs
lightly, a gesture that feels almost resigned.

**EMAAN**
Huh, alone. What else do you expect?

---

**Frame 4:**

- **[MEDIUM SHOT, TWO-SHOT]**

Ayla’s expression softens as she turns her body slightly toward
**Emaan**, signaling a shift in their conversation. Her voice,
now quieter, carries a hint of vulnerability.

**AYLA**
Aur cake main amma ke kehne pe nahi layi. Main khud lana chahti
thi.

- **[CLOSE-UP, EMAAN’S HANDS**]

**Emaan**’s hands gently rest on her lap. She looks at the cake
for a beat, then back at **Ayla**, her tone growing more
serious, as if she’s trying to bridge the emotional distance.

**EMAAN**
Lekin tumne is se pehle kabhi itni space hi nahi di. You were
always busy looking after our broken family. Kya mila tumhe amma
baba ke issues mein involve hoke? Huye unke differences door?
Nahi na. Agar itna asaan hota toh unki kabhi separation hi na
hoti.
---

**Frame 5:**

- **[CLOSE-UP, AYLA]**
The camera lingers on **Ayla**, her face contorted with the
realization of what **Emaan** is saying. She looks away for a
moment, her eyes glistening slightly as she processes the pain
and truth in those words.

**AYLA**
(softly)
Ab tum meri jagah ho na, tou tumhe samajh aa jayegi ke kyun yeh
sab karna zaroori tha.

- **[WIDE SHOT, TWO-SHOT]**

The space between them seems to shrink a little as they both
share a moment of understanding. The cake, though still
untouched, no longer feels like a barrier. The camera holds for
a beat, capturing the fragile peace.

---

**Frame 6:**

- **[CLOSE-UP, AYLA’S FACE]**

**Ayla** takes a deep breath, her lips forming a sad smile. For
the first time in the conversation, she allows herself to be
vulnerable. Her tone softens.

**AYLA**
Accha lag raha hai aaj pehli baar tumse koi dil ki baat karke.

- **[MEDIUM SHOT, TWO-SHOT]**

**Emaan** smiles gently, her body language relaxed, like someone
who’s finally been heard. She gives **Ayla** a knowing look, the
kind that only siblings share.

**EMAAN**
Warna tumne apni arrogance ke aage kabhi mauqa hi nahi diya. Tum
hamesha busy thi to listen.

---

**Frame 7:**

- **[CLOSE-UP, AYLA]**
**Ayla**’s expression shifts, the weight of the past finally
catching up to her. She frowns slightly, looking down at the
cake, her fingers nervously brushing her lap. There’s a quiet
sadness in her voice.

**AYLA**
(whispering)
You were also too distant to open up to me, Emaan.

- **[MEDIUM SHOT, TWO-SHOT]**

The camera shows the two sitting silently for a moment, the air
thick with years of unresolved pain. **Ayla** fidgets in her
seat, her eyes darting to the cake, then to **Emaan**, as if
seeking some kind of closure.

**EMAAN**
(softly)
Distant? Kab karti mein tumse baat? Har dafa jab mama bana ke
ladai k baad? Ya tab jab tum finally us sab se tang aakar khud
ko room mein lock kar leti thi?

---

**Frame 8:**

- **[WIDE SHOT]**
The camera zooms out slightly as **Ayla** takes a deep breath
and slowly stands up. She looks at **Emaan** one last time, her
eyes filled with unsaid apologies and regrets.

**AYLA**
(tiredly)
I know you were going through a lot, amma baba ke wajah se. But
it was my first time living life too.

- **[OVER-THE-SHOULDER SHOT, AYLA]**

**Ayla** starts to walk away from the bench, her steps slow and
deliberate, as if leaving is the hardest thing she’s ever had to
do.

**AYLA**
(faintly)
Aa jana, amma se milne… khwab mein hi sahi. Shayad issi bahaane
unka rona kam ho jaye.

- **[WIDE SHOT, ALONE CAKE]**

The camera pulls back to a wide shot of the bench, now empty
except for the cake. The soft, haunting notes of a **song**
start to play, blending with the gentle rustle of the leaves.
The atmosphere is heavy with emotion.

---

**EXT. PARK - BAAD MEIN**

- **[WIDE SHOT, STATIC]**

The park is still, with the last light of day slowly fading. The
bench remains in the center of the frame, the cake sitting there
untouched. The breeze blows softly, and the distant chatter of
kids can be heard. Suddenly, a **beggar kid** (around 10) enters
the frame, curiously approaching the bench.

- **[MEDIUM SHOT, BEGGAR KID]**

The beggar kid stops in front of the bench, looking at the cake
with wide, curious eyes. They reach out cautiously, their hand
trembling slightly as if afraid to touch something so foreign to
their life.

**BEGGAR KID**
(to themselves)
Lagta hai koi apna cake yahan bhool gaya.

- **[WIDE SHOT]**
The kid looks around, spotting a sad **young girl** (around 7)
sitting alone on a swing nearby. They
