Lesson Subject Complement
A subject complement is a word or phrase that follows a
linking verb and provides more information about the subject. It
either renames the subject or describes it.

Examples:
2. He is a doctor. 2. She is a teacher. 2. The flowers are beautiful.

ំ ៖ រ ឿន សុ ខ ន

There are two types of subject complements:

1. Predicate Nominative (or Predicate Noun):


This is a noun or pronoun that renames the subject.

Examples:
1. "She is a teacher. “
In this sentence, "teacher" is a predicate nominative, renaming "she."

2. Predicate Adjective:
This is an adjective that describes the subject.
