Statement of Purpose

Introduction

I am grateful to introduce myself as Mrs. Januka Dangi, born on 2nd November 2001 as the
daughter of Mr. Prem Bahadur Dangi and Mrs. Suryamaya Dangi. I am permanent resident of
Arjundhara-8, Jhapa, Nepal. I live together with my in-law’s family where there are my parents,
husband and me. I would further like to introduce myself as a curious, passionate and competent
student.

I am planning to study my bachelor degree in Global Business Administration (GBA) at


Kyungsung University, Busan, South Korea for September 2024 intake. Similarly, my in-laws
parents including husband are very supportive for my abroad study so they have decided themselves
to stand by my side, helping me in my decision towards my success and I feel very fortunate enough
to receive help from them to my study abroad.

Academic Background:

Moving towards my academic part, I completed my SEE (Secondary Education Examination) from
Devbhumi Vidhyapith English Boarding School, located at Arjundhara-5, Jhapa, in 2019, Scoring 3.3
GPA. I pursed my higher Secondary studies in Management course from Devi Secondary School
situated in Birtamode-5, Jhapa and completed my +2 Examination scoring 2.85 GPA in 2021.
After completion of secondary level education, I worked as an Assistant Accountant at “MATTRESS
WORLD & DECORE from 2nd March 2022 till 31st December 2023. After my job I decided to
study abroad in South Korea. So in order to continue my bachelor I took an IELTS examination and
score the overall band of 5.5 on 03-Feb- 2024 and start my processing to South Korea.

Financial Details
My educational journey has been greatly supported by my family and further they are going to sponsor
my education in south Korea. I have got very supportive family and in laws who have always motivated
me to take the right decision to achieve my goal. The financial backing comes from various source within
my family. My Husbands contributes an annual income of NRs. 576,000.00, as he works as a Senior
Accountant, as well as he earns an annual income of NRs. 675,000.00 from Agriculture, My Mother-in-
Law, Mrs. Pabimaya Poudel contributes an annual income of NRs. 420,000.00 as she works as
Secondary level Teacher, In the other hands she also earns an annual income of NRs. 618,000.00 from
animal husbandry, My Father- in- Law earns an annual income of NRs. 463,200.00 which is generated
annually from land lease Inc. In total, my family combined annual income is NRs. 27,52,000.00
(approximately USD$ 20,563.36). This collective financial support underscores the commitment of my
family for my education in south Korea. With this stable financial support, I am confident that the
resources will sufficiently cover my expenses during my study and stay in south Korea. The unwavering
support and motivation from my family not only reflects the dedication towards my education but also
ensures secure and conductive environment for my foreign study.
Reasons for choosing South Korea

It was really a great decision for me to choose abroad study destination. My mind always used to get
confused whether to study abroad or to do bachelor in my home country. After all, I came to know
from different social sites, pages and my friends that South Korea is popular destination for
international learners. Academics environment is highly competitive, universities are seen as a
prerequisite for success in Korean society. Varieties of courses are available with affordable tuition
fees with quality housing and environment. In addition, Korea is the safest country in the world and
has low crime rate. Students can experience Korean environment, nightlife and culinary tradition
which is gaining more popularity todays. Therefore, South Korea is known for efficient public
transport and advanced infrastructure, technology which is obviously beneficial for international
students.

Reasons for not choosing Nepal

As per my resolution, I set my mind to attain an international degree after completing my higher
secondary level of education from Nepal. Nepal’s teaching techniques are more theoretical than to be
done by practical methods. Degrees of international countries are given first priority and are highly
recognizable that the degree of Nepal.

Reasons for Choosing Bhusan

After researching various South Korean cities like Seoul, Incheon, Sejong-Si, Daegu, Ulsan etc. I
found very fascinating and suitable Busan City for me as it’s geography includes a coastline with
superb beaches and scenic cliffs, mountains which provides extraordinary views and temperature
climate never gets too hot or too cold. It is well familiar with top class education and technologies. It
is the best city due to its climatic features, nature of people and good educational institutes.

Reasons for choosing Global Business Administration (GBA) and Kyungsung university

Choosing an institution and course is very important decision fir anyone’s career. There
were plenty of choices but I appreciate choosing a GBA course because since my childhood I was
very interested in the field of business sector and during my +2 level of education therefore I choosed
to study business management hoping to complete my bachelor degrees in business administration. A
student will gain skills that are in high demand across the world. Having an international perspective
to business study gives a competitive edge in today’s world.

Kyungsung University is one of the top private university in Busan, South Korea. Kyungsung
University ranked 61st in South Korea and 3380th in the world. It offers courses and programmers
leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several area of
study. It also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to the students
including library, housing, financial aids, scholarships, as well as administrative services.
Future Career Plan:

First and foremost, my goal is to complete bachelor in business administration with good grades. As
soon as I complete my course I will return back to home country, Nepal with international Degree
certificate gained from Kyungsung University. I have to return to put my learning into practice in my
own country. I want to utilize my studies here in Nepal staying with my family who always supported
in my difficult situation and for my future ambitions. Different opportunities will be created. In
context of Nepal, numerous multinational companies have been established. As Nepal is a developing
country, with lots of career-oriented opportunities where I can pursue job in different multinational
hotels and big companies like Nepal Telecom, Smart- cells, Butwal power company, Unilever Nepal
and big Hydro-project in my country as a Manager, Marketing Manager, Financial Advisor, Capable
of carrying different managerial tasks, develop and do strategic planning and deal with a broad range
of people.

Finally, I would be grateful to you for providing me an opportunity to fulfill my dreams and really
