This qualitative research investigates academic success as

an indicator of passing the criminology licensure examination through

a case study of four Urdaneta City University (UCU) alumni who

passed the exam. Data were gathered via in-depth interviews and

academic records, focusing on their academic performance and

preparation strategies. The study reveals that consistent academic

excellence, effective study habits, and active engagement in

criminology coursework significantly predict licensure exam success.

Participants emphasized the critical role of rigorous academic training,

practical experiences, and support from faculty and peers in their

exam preparation. This research provides valuable insights into the

academic factors influencing licensure exam outcomes in criminology,

suggesting educational strategies to enhance student success.
