Dear Hiring Manager,
I hope this letter finds you well. I recently came across the opening for an English Tutor at Find
Tutors, and I couldn’t miss the chance to apply. My love for the English language and my
dedication to teaching make me thrilled at the prospect of joining your esteemed team.
I hold a degree in Mass Communication and another degree in Law from Bowen University,
where I delved deep into the nuances of English grammar, composition, and literature. Although
I have no degree in education or teaching, I have had the joy of tutoring a diverse group of
people in my local church in English language during Sunday school and our Annual Vacation
Bible School.
Teaching, for me, is about creating a space where learning thrives, a space that’s as inclusive as
it is engaging. Whether it’s through lively group discussions, imaginative writing tasks, or
detailed analysis of texts, I strive to cater to each student’s learning style. My ultimate aim is to
ensure that my students can understand, compose and speak basic English Language.
Beyond my academic background, I bring a collection of interpersonal skills to the table,
essential for building trust and fostering growth among students. Tailoring lessons to fit
individual needs and learning speeds is second nature to me.
