Rooftop Solar Projects
Any residential Consumer of DGVCL can install Solar rooftop system on their
terrace as per their requirement.
Consumers other than residential category can install solar pv system up to
capacity of 50% of their contract demand
Solar system should be minimum of 1 kW capacity.
Under the present scheme residential consumer can avail Govt. Of Gujarat
subsidy of Rs 10,000/- per KW for maximum of 2 KW capacity i.e max of Rs
20,000/-.Moreover they are also eligible to avail Central Govt. Subsidy of 30%
on present value of system as discovered by GEDA.
At present 1 KW solar PV system can be installed on cost of Rs 23,810/- after
deduction of state Govt./Central Govt Subsidy from rate of Rs 48,300/- per
KW discovered by GEDA.
Electricity bill of the consumer will be reduced, as solar system will generate
approx. 120 units per month per KW. Consumer can avail such benefit for 25
years.
Net electricity exported into the grid on billing cycle basis will purchased by
DGVCL and any surplus amount at end of year will be deposited in their
account.
Beneficiary shall register their application through any of the GEDA registered
approved empanelled vendor only.
Beneficiary have to sign net metering inter connection agreement with
DGVCL, as per the terms and conditions specified by the DGVCL before
energization of System.
