Day 1 - Casablanca. Hotel: Kenzi Basma Hotel. To do: Old town tour, Hassan 2 Mosque, beach,
Ricks cafe.
Day 2 - Rabat then Fez. Hotel: Riad Fez Mahal. Rabat: Bab Challah, Mausoleum of Mohammed V
and one of the main gates of the royal palace and the Oudaya Kasbah. Fes: walking tour - Royal
Palace gate, the Jewish quarter, the first Mellah ever built in Morocco, Al Qaraouine University,
the Tanneries and Moulay Idriss mausoleum. After that you will visit the tiles cooperative and
then experience a wonderful panoramic view over the whole Medina of Fes.
Day 3 - Erg Chebbi Desert. Hotel: Azawad Luxury Desert Camp. Travel towards Merzouga via
Midelt and the Ziz valley. During the journey you’ll experience glimpses of the Middle Atlas and
Higher Atlas mountains, stopping along the way at Azrou, a Berber village in the middle of the
famous cedar forest where you will have the opportunity to see the Barbary apes. After that, your
journey continues to Midelt along the magnificent hills and mountains of the Atlas where we’ll
stop for lunch before continuing on, traveling through the fascinating Tiz Ntalghamt pass and the
spectacular Ziz Gorge. Take in views of the High Atlas plateau to see how the scenery changes
to reveal hints of the desert. Upon arrival in Merzouga in the afternoon, you’ll be welcomed with a
glass of mint tea before taking a camel ride into the dunes of Sahara Desert of Merzouga to
reach the camp where you will have the night under the stars.
Day 4 - Dades Gorges. Hotel: Riad Dades Paradise. Sunrise then camel trek back to Merzouga
where en route you’ll be able to appreciate the unique beauty of the spectacular Erg Chebbi sand
dunes. After breakfast and hot shower in the riad, you’ll leave for Rissani, Tinghir, and Todgha
gorges – the highest and narrowest gorges in Morocco. After lunch in the heart of the gorge,
we’ll drive through the Dades Valley, where you’ll see the majestic sand castles and the amazing
rock formations known as “monkey toes”.
Day 5 - Marrakesh. Hotel: Riad Dar Nadwa. After breakfast in your accommodation, you will start
traveling through the Dades Valley towards Ouarzazate and then to Marrakech. The road through
Dades Valley is called the way of the thousand Kasbahs – providing numerous opportunities to
take some of your best photographic shots of the trip. You will stop at Kalaat M’Gouna where
you will have the option to visit the cooperative for the roses before continuing onward to Ait
Benhaddou Kasbah. Built by Et Hami El Glaoui, one of the last Berber chieftains during the 19th
