A very good morning to one and all present here I Rishabh Prasad and I Manya Jain welcome
you all to our value based assembly on
“Ecosystem Restoration”
Compere2: Before we move on with the programme, let us take out two mins to rst try and
understand what is “Ecosystem”. Let me explain you with a simple example .We water the
plants every day to make them look fresh, but just imagine if we do not water the plants or not
provide them with nutrients or sunlight, will they grow well or look fresh?
Compere 1: oh, it’s a de nite NO. Plant is a living component and the factors, like soil and
water are non-living. Plant cannot survive on its own, it is dependent on the non-living
components.
Compere2: Absolutely, in our surroundings there are many living and non-living beings and
they coexist meaning that they constantly interact with each other, this is what ecosystem is.
Compere 1: For most of history, man has had to ght nature to survive but in this century, to
survive, he must protect it.
Compere2: That’s wonderful. Now that we know what an ecosystem is, let’s start our assembly
with a prayer of supreme authority.

Compere1: Such a positive day should begin with a positive thought so let me rst call upon
our friends Mishka Sahi and Vansh Bole to present the thought of the day.

Compere2: That was indeed a meaningful thought on the ecosystem. Thank you Mishka and
Vansh. To continue this assembly what's better than the happening around the world and for
this may I call upon our friends Mannan Chabra, Divit Dave, Sarvam Verma, Shaurya Gaur
and Rudraksh Gaur to take on the virtual stage for the NEWS.

Compere1: That was quite informative, wasn't it? Now in honor of today’s events I would like

Compere2: Yes, but only in brief and I would like to know more about it.

Compere 2: Thank you Pranav, It was eye opening. Moving on, our fellow students have
choreographed a wonderful dance performance so I request them to take the stage and break
a leg.

Green Warriors to take this assembly forward.

Compere2: It was really an applaud-worthy performance. Now our friend Aahan Hitkari has
prepared a sweet animation for us. I request him to take over.

Compere1: Ah! Really delightful, wasn’t it?
Compere2:yes indeed. It is evidently high time that we start protecting and restoring our nature
and to stop its destruction. We can't go back and change the beginning but we can start where
we are and change the ending.
Compere1: That being said, it was a really informative and enlightening programme. So friends,
I would like to conclude by saying. This is our moment, We are the generation that can make
peace with nature so, let’s get active not anxious, Let’s be bold not timid because together we
can be generation restoration.
Compere2: Now I would like to request our respectful class teacher Nivedita Ma’am to give us
her words of wisdom.
