PAST SIMPLE & PAST CONTINUOUS

Recuerda:
Ex: It was raining and Paul was running. Suddenly, he saw his
brother and he called him.
week/month/year, two (o cualquier número) weeks/moths/years ago, y con
la partícula when. Ex: I played football yesterday. We didn't watch the
programme last week. When I heard a strange noise, I was studying in my
bedroom.
como yesterday at 8 o'clock, this time last week, y con la partícula while.
Ex: Yesterday at 8 o'clock I was having dinner with my boyfriend. This time
last week we were swimming on the sea. While I was studying in my
bedroom, I heard a strange noise. While I was cooking, my sister was
watching TV.

have lived in Barcelona since 1981.

suceder: She has just eaten.

For + período de tiempo en el pasado. (Desde hace + x tiempo) Ex: I have
lived here for 20 years.
