Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival

Cache Installation Guide

Developed by: Kamui (DespairOfHarmony)

Welcome to the cache installation tutorial for Music Pass Unlocker, this
document covers only the cache installation, and is aimed for everyone with a
hacked Nintendo Switch with Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival installed in
their system who wants to enjoy Shin Ultramix, Shin Ultramix Plus Ultra and
Music Pass Unlocker, to follow the steps you’ll need some requirements:
• Atmosphere - [Link]
NX/Atmosphere/releases/latest
• JKSV - [Link]
• DBI - [Link]
• 4 GB free space available in your microSD card or Switch Internal
Storage for each cache save created.
• A computer and a USB-C cable.

Step 1: Creating Cache Data (DBI)

First open Homebrew Launcher, it’s best to run a game while holding R instead
of opening Album app:
After opening DBI, scroll until “Browse installed applications” and press A:

After loading the installed games list, scroll down until you find “Taiko no
Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival” and then press A:
After loading it’s contents, press Right two times on your D-pad to go into Saves
section:
After reaching Saves press + to open the menu and select “Create new save…”

Then you should select where you want to add the cache data, choose “Cache”
to create inside Internal Storage or choose “SD Cache” to create it inside SD
Card.
After creating the save it should appear into the Saves list.

If you have more than 1 cache data to create repeat this step, just a reminder
that the max size you can extend the cache data is 4GB.
Step 2: Extending Cache Data (JKSV)
Note: For some reason, extending save data via DBI have some troubles, it’s safer to do with JKSV.

Go back to Homebrew Launcher:

Open JKSV:

Scroll down until “Cache”:

Enter it and scroll until you see the game’s icon, and then press X:

Select Extend Save Data, and set to 3942 Mb.

If you have created more than one cache data, repeat this same step for the
other ones.
Step 3: Adding Cache Data (DBI)
Now go back to Homebrew Launcher and open DBI
After opening, scroll down until “Run MTP responder” and press A

Connect your switch to your computer using a USB-C Cable:

Now it should open a new device into your computer:

Go to “7: Saves”
Open “Installed games”

Now find the game “Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival”

Note: If you have more than one version of the same game installed, DBI will show the titleid of the second one

Now open the game folder:

Now open cache folder (In my case is SD_Cache.0001) and then you can paste
it directly inside this folder:

Just make sure that all the files in the folder are less than 4GB, otherwise you
should go back to step 1 and create a new cache save.
After pasting the files it’s all done, you can enjoy your game.
