Narrator here George:enters is the husband of Mrs Pearson and notices Doris is crying now will
his fate be same like this let's find out

George:what's this

Mrs Pearson:better ask her

George Why are you drinking beer

Mrs Pearson:because I want to

George:what's wrong

Mrs Pearson:you can see

George:by the way I am going out tonight so don't make tea for me

Mrs Pearson:oh good there's no tea

George:what. Why

Mrs Pearson:wow look at this man he is annoyed bcoz i didn't prepare the tea which he doesn't
even want .Why don't you go to the club?try this at club And to be one of the standing jokes
and then they will call you ompy pompy Pearson

George:never

Mrs Pearson:they are always laughing at you and you leave your wife at home shame on you

George:cyril do they

Cyril: well yes

Narrator oh my God, that's hard for George to accept. So George exits with that pain and Cyril
looks at her mother. Let's see what will be the conversation between them?

Cyril: you shouldn't have said that

Mrs Pearson:sometimes we have to hurt feelings for the good

Cyril: well! a noise what's that

returns back now who it can be ? I guess we all can guess.

Cyril: mom it's that silly old women from the next door

Mrs Pearson:say that one more time and I will teach you a good lesson she has more sense
when you will never have now go call her

Mrs Fitzgerald:is everything right

Cyril: no nothing is right

Mrs Pearson:be quiet you silly

Mrs Fitzgerald:oh no what happened

Mrs Pearson:let me handle my family in my own way

(Cyril exits and George enters)
George I suppose you are here for a minute

Mrs Fitzgerald:well yes George

George:what George

Mrs Pearson:your name is George isn't it or is it Duke of Edinburgh

George :what's up with you

Mrs Fitzgerald:oh dear

George :you shut up this nothing to do with you

Mrs Pearson:is that a way you talk to a friend or neighbour

Mrs Fitzgerald:it's okay

Mrs Pearson:why don't you go to your club and be the standing jokes

Pearson

Mrs Fitzgerald:what are you doing we must go back now

Mrs Pearson:but

Mrs Fitzgerald:it's enough for them

Mrs Pearson:well if you insist

Arshtatta dum arshtatta lum arshtatta dum lum

Mrs Fitzgerald:i enjoyed

Mrs Pearson:but I don't

Mrs Fitzgerald:but remember don't be too soft . Give them a tone of voice , let them do their own
work . And be firm now lets test it

Mrs Pearson:and how

Mrs Fitzgerald:what's the thing you would like them to do which they don't do

Mrs Pearson:getting some help while preparing supper anddd a nice game of rummy

Mrs Fitzgerald:ok

Mrs Fitzgerald:hoy you all can come now

Doris: yes mother

Mrs Fitzgerald:remember

Mrs Pearson:no objection i guess

George no mother whatever you say

Mrs Pearson:so now everyone is going to stay at home so we will play the game of rummy and
afterwards you all will give me a hand while preparing the supper

Doris: ohh

Mrs Pearson:speak up

Doris: it would be lovely

Mrs Pearson:good bye Mrs Fitzgerald:come again soon

Mrs Fitzgerald:yeah bye

Narrator - wow Happy ending that's all what we all want isn't it ? Now you all can imagine what
will be the sad ending, probably that the mother would not speak up ,would not take any actions
and the other family members would not realize that they were treating her wrong. Isn't it
relatable to us sometimes we misbehave with our mother which perhaps hurt our mother and
we don't realize. But this drama teaches us a lot . We just want to see that always respect your
mother and show some gratitude towards her.
Thank you!!!.
