the Principal’s performance during the last school year. He asked them this question :
How do you feel about the Principal's performance during the last school year? The re-
spondents’ reply was chosen from any of the following 5 options : very satisfied, some-
what dissatisfied, no opinion, somewhat dissatisfied, and very dissatisfied. He tabulated
the frequencies of the answers and the summary is shown below:

2. The Data and Story Library website (a website devoted to applications of statistics) gives

3. During the 10 weeks of a session, the marks scored by 2 students A and B, taking the
computer program course are given below:

a. Who is the better scorer, A or B?
b. Who is more consistent?
4. An analysis of the daily wages paid to workers in two firms X and Y, belonging to the
same industry gave the following results:

Find out in which firm is there greater variability in individual wages.
5. Encode in MS Excel the grades of your students in English (or in any subject that you are
handling) for the first grading period this school year. Choose only one section. From the
menu bar, click DATA, DATA ANALYSIS, DESCRIPTIVE STATISTICS, OK.
For your reference, an example is hereby shown.
