LIVING ROOM
Every living room is unique, but they all have one
thing in common. They’re a place where memories
are made. Families spend the most time together
in their living room. Living rooms are also where
visitors make their first impressions of your home.
No wonder we spend so much time on this part of
the house, right from choosing the colour of the
walls, to the furniture and decor.

Upholstery Slip Covers
slipcover (also called loose cover) is a fitted protective
cover that may be slipped off and on a piece of
upholstered furniture. Slipcovers are usually made of
cloth. Slipcovers slip on and off, they come fresh, and
may be removed for seasonal change, cleaning, moving,
or storage.

Curtains
curtain, in interior design, decorative fabric commonly
hung to regulate the admission of light at windows
and to prevent drafts from door or window openings.
Curtains, usually of a heavy material, arranged to fall
straight in ornamental folds are also called draperies.

Curtain Tops
The curtain top is literally the top section of the curtain that
attaches to the rod. There are several different ways to attach a
curtain to a curtain rod depending on the style of curtain top
you choose.

because it is simple and also readily adjustable.

Sheers
Sheer Curtains, also known as Sheers are lightweight
fabrics that cover over your windows, soften your
home’s lighting, and add an instant infusion of style
into your interior decor. Sheer Curtains give you a
measure of privacy, but are also well-matched for a
layered window treatment.
Drapes
The difference between curtains and drapes is drapes are
often lined with heavy fabric to block all outside light, and
drapes are a more ornate window treatment often made
custom to specific windows. Like curtains, the purpose of
drapes is to block light, offer privacy, and add visual
interest to a room. The visible fabric of drapes is also
typically heavy and somewhat stiff, with common materials
including velvet, damask, and silk.
Valances
A valance is usually a short curtain or drape that only covers
the top portion of a window as well as any window treatment
hardware. The latter is the main function, and a valance may
be used for this purpose on its own or along with curtains,
draperies, or blinds.

Blinds
Blinds are a type of window covering. A window blind
normally consists of several long slats, either vertically or
horizontally. The cords that go through these slats, which may

various styles, including roller shades, pleated, Roman,
Venetian, etc.

CUSHION COVERS
A cushion cover is a protective sleeve designed to fit over a cushion or

pouf (or pouffe) is a cushioned, pillow-like seat
that's low to the ground. The origin is French, and
these pieces come in various sizes and firmness.
They can function as makeshift chairs (particularly
in small spaces or when limited chairs are
available), footstools, or side tables.
