My name is Trúc and


now I will move to one of the important parts of our presentation - Words to study. I’ll
introduce about some important vocab of this unit and their collocations that we could
find.
Let start with “ consult “
Consult
What you see in the picture is people who are consulting. So, what is consult ?
“Consult” is means that to get information or advice from a person, book, etc. with
special knowledge on a particular subject.
Example :
• We consulted the committee's report for advice on how to proceed.
Next is collocation with “ consult “
ADV
Widely + consult : Widely consult" means seeking opinion or information
from various sources.
We consulted quite widely before deciding what to do.
closely + consult : means seeking opinions or information in a careful
manner.
properly + consult : means seeking advice or input in a appropriate way.
They felt they had not been properly consulted.
Next is Verb
Shoud + :
If the pain persists you should consult your doctor
Need +
If the symptoms persist, you need to consult your doctor for further evaluation

With + consult : means seeking advice, or information from someone.
We are consulting closely with our partners and allies

Audit
What you see in the picture is about audit . So, what is audit ?

As a (verb ), It means to make an official examination of the accounts of a business and


produce a report.
• They had the books audited by a qualified accountant.
As (noun), it is an examination of the accounts of a business, usually by experts from
outside the business.
• A full audit is performed each year by a district auditor.
Next is collocation with Audit .

Fraud ; the crime of getting money by tricking or deceiving people.
