Conceptual framework
A conceptual framework is a dynamic structure of interrelated
concepts, theories, or variables that provides a clearly defined understanding of the
phenomena being studied. It is a guide for the research by highlighting the key points
and their relationships, thus explaining the desired outcomes.
In research, beginning a conceptual framework is a structured,
theoretical model that develops and comprehensively describes the main issues,
variables, and constructs as applicable to the field and sets their connections. It is an in-
depth guide for the research by being the firmer groundwork for understanding the
phenomena being researched.
Moreover, framework is rooted in preexisting theories and previous
studies, thus allowing us to note the factors that are crucial to this study, setting up the
hypotheses, and directing the data gathering and analysis. The conceptual framework,
when the connections of central elements are displayed in a visual or descriptive way,
addresses the research problem and opens the way to the study's methodology.
