Urgent Notice Related toSpecialStray Vacancy Round of WB NEET UG Medical
Dental 2024 Regarding
In pursuance to the notice published by MCC, New Delhi dated 19.11.2024
bearing Ref. U-11011/01/2024-MEC (copy attached as annexure), the
candidates who are non allotted till extended Stray Vacancy Round are
eligible to participate in this round of counseling with fresh registration and
payment of counseling fee once again.
• The candidates doing fresh registration in Special StrayVacancy Round are
also eligible to participate in this round of counseling.
After careful consideration, the body of the counseling
full committee has
come to the decision that due to time constraint in the admission process
of extended StrayVacancy Round which was conducted on 05.11.2024,the
candidates could not report to the allotted institutes are also allowed to
participate in this round of counseling with fresh registration and payment
of counseling fee once again.
All the candidates will have to do Fresh Choice Filling for Special Stray
Vacancy Round. Any choice/s submitted earlier will be treated as 'Null &
Void'.
• In pursuance to the notice published by MCC, New Delhidated 19.11.2024
bearing Ref. U-11011/01/2024-MEC (copy attached as annexure), the
candidates who do not join the seats in Special Stray Vacancy Round will
not be eligible to take NEET UG exam fornextyear i.e 2025.

NOTICE
Kind Attention:
UG Couselling 2024 candidates are informed as under:
All the NEET UG eligible candidates who are registered with MCC with payment of
fees are hereby informed that some seats are still lying vacant due to Non Joining/ Non
Reporting after the completion of Stray Vacancy Round of UG counselling 2024. The
details of the vacant seats are available on MCC website ([Link]).
In view of above, the competent authority has decided to conduct a Special Stray
Vacancy Round for the vacant seats in an online mode so that the precious medical
seats do not go waste.
The rule position for Special Stray Vacancy Round is as under:
No Fresh Registration will take place in Special Stray Vacancy Round. All pre
registered candidates who have completed Registration & Payment of fees earlier and
are not holding any seat are eligible to participate. However, candidates will have to
do Fresh Choice Filling for Special Stray Vacancy Round. Any choices submitted
earlier will be treated as ‘Null & Void’.
All AIQ Registered candidates irrespective of their category are required to pay a
Refundable Security Deposit of Rs. 50,000 for participation in Special Stray Vacancy
Round for exercising choices for Govt. seats.
Candidates registered for Deemed Universities will have to pay the Refundable
Security Deposit of Rs. 3,00,000 to exercise choices for Deemed University.
Refundable Security Deposit of candidates who do notjoin the seats allotted to
them in Special Stray Vacancy Round will be Forfeited and they will not be
eligible to take NEET UG exam for next year i.e 2025.

Candidates who will be allotted seats in Special Stray Vacancy Round will have to
report at the allotted Institute and join the seat with their original documents within
stipulated time mentioned in the schedule.
The list of candidates who have been allotted seats in Special Stray Vacancy Round
will be shared with state counselling authorities and such candidates will be debarred
from taking admission in Special Stray Vacancy Round of state counselling.
Candidates participating in Special Stray Vacancy Round will have to furnish an
undertaking withrespect to allotment of seats at the time of Choice Filling on MCC
portal as under:
“I agree to participate in the Special Stray Vacancy Round of NEET-UG
Counselling, 2024. I affirm that I am not holding any seat in the previous rounds of NEET-
UG Counselling, 2024 of All India Quota/State Quota
I understand that these seats are precious in nature. Hence, if I am allotted a seat
during the Special Stray Vacancy Round, I will join the allotted seat. If, due to any
reason I do not join the allotted seat my refundable security deposit will be forfeited along
with debarment from NEET UG 2025 and any action including legal may be taken by the
Competent Authority.”
The Eligibility of candidates to participate in Special Stray Vacancy Round is reiterated
as under:
• ELIGIBLE CANDIDATE:
a . Candidates previously registered on MCC portal a n d h a v e c o m p l e t e d
the payment of fees
b. Candidates who are ‘Not Holding’ any seat in the previous rounds of NEET-UG
Counselling, 2024 of All India Quota/State Quota/ Deemed University.
• INELIGIBLE CANDIDATE:
a. A candidate who has not completed the Registration process or has not paid the fees.
b. A candidate already allotted & joined a seat in AIQ/State Counselling/ Deemed
University.
c. A candidate who had been allotted a seat by MCC in AIQ Round-3 & Stray Vacancy
Round earlier but did not join the allotted seat.
