indicated that teachers's empathy leads to learner self-confidence in educational contexts. In addition,
teachers's empathy creates a supportive learning environment, which makes students feel comfortable
engaging in class discussion, feel valued, supported, and belong. Also, it shows that teachers’ empathy
can trigger learners's motivation and engagement. Moreover, teachers’ empathy can reduce the stress
level, which, in turn, positively affects learners’ engagement level and enhances learners' engagement in
class.
