5G URLLC, a promising technology for industrial wireless networks, significantly impacts
industrial control systems with diverse control protocols. Our experiments evaluated the
reliability and latency of our protocol adaptation scheme. We found that while there's a slight
decrease in reliability, it remains acceptable. Notably, the adaptation between Modbus TCP and
5G shows superior reliability compared to Modbus RTU, highlighting the importance of our
findings in enhancing network reliability (Xu et al., 2023). Simultaneously, creating teaching
materials for Android devices is an initial stride towards embracing the Society 5.0 era in
education. This study aims to assess the reliability and practicality of an Android-based e-
module focusing on Newton's laws. The research employs various instruments, including expert
validation sheets, student reliability questionnaires, interview guides, and the e-module
prototype. The research involves 50 students as subjects. The instruments utilized encompass
expert validation, student reliability assessment, interviews, and the e-module prototype itself
(Rosiningtias et al., 2023)
Continuing, Ultra-reliable low-latency communication (URLLC) is a promising technology
poised to facilitate critical industrial wireless control applications like tactile sensing and motion
control. This article introduces a new software-defined URLLC prototype and sets up a human-
in-loop robotic teleoperation platform for experimental assessments. The experiments
demonstrate that the prototype achieves millisecond-level latency with exceptionally high
reliability. Moreover, it enables wireless teleoperation with transparency comparable to wired
teleoperation (Li et al., 2023). In addition, as transportation shifts to electric power, demand
grows for higher power density in electrical machines, especially in weight-sensitive aerospace
applications. Traditionally, ensuring reliability in safety-critical contexts involves using significant
safety margins, but this limits power density. This paper proposes a reliability-focused design
approach for low-voltage electrical machines, integrating model-based lifetime prediction into a
multi-objective optimization process (Chen et al., 2023).
Accurately estimating BLSS reliability and lifetime is vital for their design, construction,
and operation. Using Palace 1 (LP1) data from a 370-day experiment, unit failures were
analyzed through sensitivity analysis and Monte Carlo simulations. Pseudo-random numbers
based on LP1's failure distribution function were generated for reliability and lifetime estimation
using maximum likelihood and Monte Carlo simulations. This research establishes a theoretical
framework for future BLSS design, aiming to enhance reliability and prolong lifetimes (Hu et al.,
2023). Besides that, a design thinking project was carried out among internal stakeholders of a
large state Japanese university to create a user-centric brochure promoting study abroad
programs at francophone partner universities. To ensure the accuracy and consistency of the
coding framework and its application to the original Japanese text, researchers conducted an
intercoder reliability (ICR) assessment involving three Japanese coders, as recommended by
MacPhail et al. During the third stage, a "negotiated agreement" approach was employed,
where coders discussed any discrepancies in coding with the guidance of researchers to
resolve conflicting interpretations and ensure high intercoder reliability (Shah et al., 2023).
Moreover, the cross-sectional study aimed to assess the reliability of an Indonesian
Computer-Based Game (ICbG) prototype designed as a Computer-Based Game Inventory for
Executive Function (CGIEF) in children and adolescents. The construct reliability (CR) for
CGIEF was determined to be 0.91, indicating a high level of consistency in measuring executive
functions. Additionally, concurrent validity was evaluated using the Bland-Altman plot, which
showed minimal deviation between the total executive function scores obtained from CGIEF and
those from the Behavior Rating Inventory of Executive Function (BRIEF), suggesting strong
reliability in measuring executive functions across both tools (Wiguna et al., 2024). Similarly,
conducting a thorough analysis, this investigation delves into the efficiency and reliability of
GaN-based visible light-emitting diodes (LEDs). Prototype devices have been meticulously
designed for the purpose of dissecting and comprehending the known vulnerabilities associated
with this type of technology. The ultimate aim is to acquire insights that can steer future
advancements in GaN-based LED technology, through comprehensive testing and analysis to
evaluate efficiency and reliability and pinpoint opportunities for improvement in subsequent
versions of the technology (Casu, 2024).
Meanwhile, in the study of (Wanandi et al., 2023) the primary objective is to design a
product sales application that simplifies the selling process, from initial sales to delivery, while
also providing updated information about PT. Prima Fabian Mandiri Palembang City's inventory
and pricing. Through the utilization of SPSS 25, validity and reliability tests were performed on
all statements, confirming their accuracy and dependability. Consequently, the findings indicate
consumer satisfaction with the application's effectiveness across the five variables. In the same
way, in this correspondence, the focus is on examining the reliability of a harvest-readiness
classifier developed for cauliflower, a crop known for its stringent quality standards and time-
sensitive harvesting demands due to its hand-harvested nature. Through the utilization of
interpretable machine learning methods, the research aims to assess the dependability of the
classifier. By identifying clusters within saliency maps and drawing upon both domain expertise
and image attributes, reliability scores are calculated for individual classification outcomes, thus
contributing to a deeper understanding of the classifier's accuracy and consistency (Kierdorf &
Roscher, 2023).
