SUBJECT : Progress Report re: Stabbing Incident

1. References:
a. Spot Report dated September 04, 2023 with subject same as above; and
b. Blotter Entry No. 0001, page 01 dated September 04, 2023 with subject same as
above.
2. In relation to the references above, it is informed that the victim
suffered two deep stab wounds that required immediate surgery because
it reached his kidney and was damaged. Cirilo Sabit y Avila was
immediately operated on at the Candelaria District Hospital located in
Yamot, Candelaria, Zambales. The condition of the victim became critical
due to the amount of blood he lost, but the operation went well with the
cooperation of the doctors at the said hospital. The victim is currently
recovering in the hospital, and is being monitored by experts.
3. The suspect Yuan Salazar y Bao was been arrested by the proper authority, and now
temporarily detained in the Candelaria Municipal Police Station detention cell
for the proper disposition of the case while the investigator-on-case is now
preparing. The case was elevated to Frustrated Murder, because
according to the IOC's investigation, the elements of the crime were
frustrated and not attempted under Article 248 of the RPC for immediate
filing in court.
