Lunch Time

Morning Snack
● Take the kids waters and put them in the yellow/red cup holders
(if the water is not in their bag than check in the yellow cup
holder for their cup) and lunch boxes out of their bookbags and
place them in their cubbies and put their book bags on the
hooks on the wall
● Say grace
● Call each kid to go get their water out of the cup holder and
lunch box based on who is sitting quietly on their dot
○ Hudson can get his water but not his lunch box so set his
morning snack at his seat.
● Make sure that each kid is getting their morning snack out and
not their lunch
● If they need help opening something they need to raise their
hands and say please before getting help and thank you after
they receive help
Circle Time
(all things of the week can be found in the curriculum binder)
● Start by playing a “shake your sillies out” to get their wiggles out
● Let the kids know to sit on their dot(help them find their dots if
they need help
● Do morning breathing(breath in and out with the kids 4 times
before starting)
● Read the book or the bible story of the week
● Sing the song of the week
● Read the poem of the week
● Count to the number of the week
● Sing ABCs and sign each letter as you sing them
● Then go up to the letter of the week using the ABC sheet in the
back of this binder that tells you how we recognize the letters
● Go over the shape(s) of the week by using the shape cards in the
curriculum binder
● Go over color(s) of the week by turning off the lights and using
the LEDs plus the color cards in the curriculum binder
