Presentation 2 - Allscripts Training - Rx
Through Note
Prescription writing is done through the table of contents on the
left side.
There are multiple options such as Chief Complaints, Hx of
present illness, Review of systems etc. on the left side under
Note icon. By navigating on the same table, There is an option
of Assessment After selecting the assessment
The All Script open a page on the right side where list of prior
problems gets displayed which allows the
biller/Coder/Executive to add the present problem either from
Prior problem list, Or to add a Newly diagnosed issue Just
below the unassessed problem there is an icon for New after
selecting it, The tool will take the user to All Clinical Item
base where a New Diagnoses can be added
If we are adding the prior problem, we can simply check the
box from prior problems list under Unassessed Option which
moves the disease from Unassessed section to Assessed
section
Once the Diagnoses is added the next step is to add the
Prescription
Navigation is done through pressing the Plan Option on the left
side of the Note icon
NotePlanNew (The Allscript will direct us to Rx Orders
with default option Rx In the header of the page)
All Script provides all the prior Rx option in the Rx icon
To add a new Rx simply search in the search box under Rx
and select the prescription
After checking the desired prescription the AllScript takes
the user to prescription pad where the prescription has to
be verified for the selected Diagnoses.
The Prescription pad has 3 options: Personal – Where we
can select the dosage and frequency of the tablet to be
taken, If there is specific directions given by the Doctor for
the Dosage – We can select the New Structured Option
where we can added the instructive order of taking the
medicine/Tablet. Rx Pad also has one more option of New
Free Text where we can add the instruction/Advise given
by the Doctor
Once all the instruction is added about the usage, days
and doses we need to Select/Change the dropdown option
from Evaluate to Complete which instructs the Allscript
to remove the prescription automatically after the
Prescription days gets completed.
Once done the Rx can also be directed to the Retail shop,
This is done by selecting the Retail Rx under the dropdown
of Print Rx tab on the same page.
Retail Rx gives pharmacy shop names if the Pharmacy is
not in the list we can simply select the Binoculars option
and in the search box we can search the Pharmacy and
select the same
Once done select save and close and Allscript will return
to Note Page where on the Top corner The icon Commit is
reflected after selecting the commit icon the prompt will
confirm to Save and Continue which directs the
prescription for mailing or send it to the selected retail
Shop.
And this adds the Rx through Allscript
