KBCC MUSIC CLUB

SESSION 1 (THEORY): NOTE VALUES


Musical notes sung by human voices or played by any instruments (eg
piano, violin, guitar, drums, etc) have various properties including
duration, pitch, timbre, etc. For this session we will focus on the
duration of the notes.

The duration of the musical notes is depicted using “musical notes”,


which have defined lengths, and we will learn some of these notes
and their lengths /duration.
